queste poche parole sono per esprimere quanto sia felice con la mia nuova Rune, la quale ha preso il posto della mia vecchia Chapparal. Non è mia intenzione fare una vera e propria recensione, semplicemente, come si può vedere dalle foto, ho avuto l'occasione di confrontare le bici dei miei amici qui in Italia (con la mia) e queste sono le mie considerazioni a riguardo:

Ciò che è davvero incredibile è che la Rune, anche se è più pesante in salita per il fatto che ha un montaggio più orientato all'All Mountain, è agile come la Yeti 575 o la S.C. Hekler le quali erano montate con componenti più orientati all'XC.

Le tre bici che ho provato.
La grande differenza ovviamente è in discesa, la Rune è puro divertimento, comparandola con le altre bici, tutto è più semplice, non sono un tecnico e quindi non posso spiegare più di tanto il perchè, ma è un dato di fatto: è un piacere cavalcare la Rune, va esattamente dove vuoi, nel modo più semplice.
Volevo una vera All Mountain, e non potevo chiedere di meglio, davvero efficente in salita, davvero divertente ed esplosiva, così com'è!

Dunque la cosa che voglio dire è che non conta in quanti siete a fare una bella bici, ciò che conta sono le idee, e voi ragazzi avete fatto un gran bel lavoro!!!

I've read your interview with Freebike Italian distributor and it's amazing what you guys are doing, Two minds one smart company, well done!!!! These few words just to tell you know how happy I'm with the new Rune which has taken place of my previous Chapparal. It's not my intention to make a review here but, as you can see from the pics, I had the chance to try my friends' bikes here in Italy and these are my considerations:
- What's really amazing is that the Rune even if it was heavier due to an all mountain components selection, up hill was as good as the yeti 575 or the S.C. hekler that were built with more cross country oriented components and wheels.
- The big difference of course has been in down hills, the Rune it's simply pure fun, compared with the other bikes everything was easier, I'm not a technician so I cannot explain you why, but it's a matter of fact, the Rune it's a pleasure to ride, it goes exactly where you want the bike to go in the easiest way.
- I wanted a real all mountain bike and I could not ask better, very efficient on climbs, fun and blast on down hills, simple as that!!!
- So my very simple consideration is that it does not matter how many people you are to make a good bike, the ideas are what matter and you guys did a great job !!!
